Now that everyone has received their Sew Me a Memory Christmas gifts, let's have another contest!

Send me a photo of the gift recipient wearing or showing off the Sew Me a Memory item they got. Didn't get a Sew Me a Memory gift this Christmas? That's ok. Any gift or item you purchased will be fine.  

I will be posting all the photos on my blog on January 8th. Everyone will have 1 week to vote for their favorite. The winner gets a $25.00 gift certificate! Send your photos to debbie@sewmeamemory.com before midnight January 7th to be included.

Feel free to add a comment or feedback on the item. How it fits, how it washes, the quality or design, etc.


On January 8th, 2011, I will put up all the photos and then people can begin voting. Voting will last only a week, so let everyone know to vote! Voting will end on January 14th. The New Year is upon us! Happy New Year to All!

I can't beleive it's been another year. I am so pleased to say that Sew Me Memory has had a great year. I've met so many fabulous new customers and spent time creating items for my regulars. I'm greatful for you all!

I've got 2 major goals for 2011! Here they are!

More inventory: During the many shows I attended in 2010, I had a lot of requests for more sizes. I took hundreds of orders for items I did not have in stock. I hope to more than double my inventory for every show I do in 2011. More sizes in most items so I have something for everyone to take home. I will still take orders, but hopefully I will be able to fulfill most request during the shows.

Larger Sizes:  Many of you have requested larger sizes. I'm glad to hear that the older girls, in their tweens and teens are looking for fun, cheerful clothing to wear. I will be adding several items in Junior sizes. I will also be adding some adult sizes. Skirts and Reversible Swing Jackets for starters.

Wow! It's been too long!

I can't beleive how time flies. I've been so busy with orders and inventory that I have not blogged since over a month ago. Hope you haven't missed me too much! LOL

As well as working on orders, I've been preparing inventory for the Boston Christmas Festival. It will be held at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston, MA on November 5, 6, and 7th. I'm back!

Wow. Has it really been so long since I last blogged? Time flies when you're having fun in the sun...or in an air conditioned studio, as I have been.
I've been working hard on some new items for Fall. Back to school is a fun time to dress your little girl! I remember all those years ago, when Mom and I went shopping for school clothes. It was so much fun! I little disappointing when I couldn't wear the cool clothes I wanted to because I was too small. I remember wearing "winnie the poo" brand in 8th grade. Argh. Oh well, times have changed and kids come in all shapes and sizes.....and so does my clothing line. Sizes 0-3 months to plus sizes, and everything in between. Keep watching. I'll be posting some of my new items very soon.

Denise Knapp, owner of Whimsy Couture has designed some great patterns! Here is a little romper I made with one of her patterns. I use her patterns for some of my items and she is kind enough to give me the rights to sell them. I just wanted to let everyone know that she is the designer.

Natick Collection was a success!

What a great event this weekend. I saw some of my regular customers and so many new fans! Thank you all for your purchases and comments. I had many requests for adult sizes......guess what........it's in the works. I hope to introduce some of them at the Beverly Arts Fest and more at the Newport Indie By the Sea. Over 100 local & national artists will be chosen to set up shop & sell their wares along the beautiful waterfront @ Fort Adams Sate Park in Newport RI. Shoppers can expect high quality handmade goods that reflect the unique aesthetic of the Open Markets, set against the backdrop of the sparkling Atlantic coast. We have hand selected a diverse collection of artists that create everything, including house wares, paper goods, handbags, jewelry, prints, ceramics, clothing, accessories, paintings/drawings, sculpture, and many other one-of-a-kind curiosities.
